I fully intended to start my new blog with a bang. A concise, eloquent bang, but a bang nevertheless.
The intention lasted a full eight seconds, from the point I decided to reinvent my online self to the point at which I realised that I would actually have to write something worth reading.
Not a bang, then, but a small pop - perhaps a squelch - as I take my first tentative steps back into the blogging arena. I was rather hoping that inspiration would come once I started writing, but, having reached the end of my initial train of thought, I can confirm that this is not the case. Cheers, brain.
Oh no, wait, something's coming.
The last three months have been amazing. It may be a sad reflection on the state of my life so far, but I don't think I would be exaggerating if I said that they were really rather good. Some common themes have emerged though, from my conversations with various people and experiences of life at large, so I thought I would take some time to explore the issues and ideas that have presented themselves. I'll do it over the course of a few blogs, so that I have something to do over Christmas.
Hang around for musings on fresh starts, alternative arts and cheesy rhymes. It'll be a wild ride.
In the meantime, watch this video. It should give you a reasonable idea of what I wish my life was like.
